About Me
Hello!
My name is Olivia Leneghan. I am a 22 year old recent graduate of a BA (Hons) Animation and Motion Design course at L.S.A.D.

I would love to create animation for children. I have a little brother who is 12 years younger than me and so have been kept continuously up to date with animation that is geared towards children. My work tends to incorporate textural qualities and bright colours. I also love to sketch, often drawing out my conceptual ideas on paper first before bringing them into a digital workspace. Character conceptual sketches tends to be where my interest lies. I find myself drawn to people, wanting to capture a certain look, expression, or feeling they exhibit through my drawing.

My other interests include pop culture; music, (I listen to everything from Depeche Mode to Ariana Grande); fashion; reading; knitting and crochet; watching sci-fi movies, (I love Star Trek, Marvel and Jurassic Park); and baking my signature lemon squares.

As for animation, I think what I love most about it as an art form is the way in which it can be used to capture those small human moments and piece them together through a series of drawings that actually have the ability to come to life.
